STAR REFINERY COFOT PROJECT

Brief Project Description:

Additional field preparation works of the STAR Refinery, which will have a capacity of 10 million tons of crude oil per year in an area of ​​approximately 2,300 acres in Petkim Peninsula, was tendered 1 year after the main tender of the project and these works have been carried out by our company. Within the scope of this project, refinery extension works are being carried out in an area of 345.000 m².

During the STAR Refinery additional field works, 19 tank foundations, one of which is the largest tank of the refinery (92 m in diameter, with 140.000-ton crude oil capacity), the highest gabion wall (27.5 m) of the STAR Refinery and the longest ground nail of the refinery (24 m) have been manufactured by us in the field. 3.500.000 m³ of rock excavation and 1.000.000 m³ embankment were completed by using 25 excavators, 4 rippers, 2 dozers, 4 graders, 6 cylinders and 50 in-field transport trucks in a short period of 1 year. At the peak of the time, 20.000 tons of embankment material was brought to the field from the stone quarry at a distance of 15 km and processed. The duration of the contract is 26 months and the contract amounts have increased by 30%. The project now has a physical progress of 90% and a financial progress of 105%

2- External CP Works for OWS Underground Pipes:
Detailed Design, material supply, site installation of Impressed Current Cathodic Protection for OWS underground pipes (2 km in-plant piping)
3- Tank Internal CP Works for Crude Oil and Fuel Oil Tanks:
Detailed Design, material supply, site installation of Galvanic Cathodic Protection for Crude Oil (90 mt diameter) and Fuel Oil (50 mt diameter) tanks
